JDX Blinds and Curtains

Blinds & Curtains in The Colony, TX — JDX Headquarters

Our The Colony showroom on State Highway 121 is JDX headquarters and our largest display. It is the one place where you can see the whole range side by side — roller shades (often called roll screens), zebra shades that other stores sell as combi or dual shades, honeycomb shades better known as cellular shades, wood and faux wood blinds, aluminum mini blinds, plantation shutters, custom curtains, and the full outdoor line of motorized patio screens, solar screens, sunrooms and louvered pergolas. More than 2,000 products and material samples are kept on site, and because JDX manufactures in house, what you see on the floor is what we build.

Parking is free and directly in front of the building, so bring a cabinet door, a paint chip or a cushion and hold it against a sample in daylight.

From The Colony we install across the northern half of the Metroplex — Frisco, Plano, Little Elm, Lewisville, Prosper, Celina, McKinney and Allen to the east, Denton, Corinth, Highland Village, Argyle and Flower Mound to the west, and Carrollton, Coppell, Grapevine, Southlake, Trophy Club and Roanoke to the south.

Every order includes a free in-home consultation, free professional measurement and free installation, and every product carries our Lifetime Service warranty — if a shade stops running years from now, we come back out. Korean-speaking support is available at (214) 649-9992.

Showroom hours are Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 6:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

What is the difference between blinds and shades?

Blinds have slats you tilt — wood, faux wood and aluminum mini blinds. Shades are a continuous piece of fabric that rolls or folds — roller shades, zebra shades, cellular (honeycomb) shades and roman shades. Blinds give you finer control over light direction; shades give a cleaner look and better insulation. We carry both, and the showroom lets you see the two side by side.
