Most of the shades we install are neutrals, and for good reason. This Frisco home was different. Its rooms had their own color already established, and the owner wanted the window treatments to join in. That changes the job from matching the trim to matching the room.
The master bedroom received Independence in green, a muted sage that picks up the tone of the space without turning the windows into a feature wall. A second bedroom got Aden in aqua for the same reason. Both are zebra shades, so the color shows in the solid bands while the sheer bands still let the daylight and the view through when the shade is rolled open.
The one place we went neutral was the tall window above the front door. It is visible from the entry and from the upstairs landing, and nobody operates it day to day, so it got Las Colinas in mushroom, a fabric that reads as part of the architecture from below.
Nine windows measured and installed in one visit in February 2026. The house kept its colors, the bedrooms gained real light control, and the entry window that used to be bare now finishes the front of the house from inside.
